From\u00a0Edinburgh<\/strong>, we will stop on the way at the beautiful spot of\u00a0Bankfoot<\/strong>, a place where we can rest after this first part of the journey, have a hot drink and take advantage of the surroundings to see the typical hairy cows of the Highlands, the\u00a0Hairy Coos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

C<\/span>\u00a0Culloden Battlefield<\/h3>\n

We visit one of the most iconic places in Scottish history, the scene of the last battle fought on British soil, which would change Scottish society and end its clan system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

D<\/span>\u00a0Inverness<\/h3>\n
\n

We will follow the course of the River Ness until we reach\u00a0the capital of the Highlands, Inverness<\/strong>, known for its Saint Andrews Cathedral and its castle. There you will have the opportunity to have a snack and stroll around the the city centre.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

E<\/span>\u00a0Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle<\/h3>\n

Our next destination will be\u00a0Loch Ness<\/strong>\u00a0where we will have the opportunity to join the cruise on the loch and visit the ruins of\u00a0Urquhart Castle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This castle was an ancient fortress that experienced some of Scotland\u2019s great conflicts, from the Picts to the Jacobite Wars and the English invasion. It is undoubtedly a place with a lot of history, but also with a lot of magic.<\/p>\n
